When you compare Amanda's portfolio to other wedding photographers it's a no-brainer. As a wedding videographer myself, I've worked with many wedding photographers and Amanda's calm and confident demeanor stands out above the rest.
Seeing their faces throughout the night just made my heart so happy.
The organization that goes into planning ahead with Amanda made me feel SO comfortable and reassured. This was one less thing I had to worry about because I knew she had it covered. We had some unexpected rain on our wedding day, and while I wanted to freak out about not getting photos outside, Amanda kept me sane because she (and her second shooter, Alyssa) were calm and collected and amazing improvisers. They captured our day and the emotions that came along with it SO perfectly (as well as some awesome detail shots that I wasn't even expecting)! Amanda seriously goes above and beyond to make her clients happy. She rode in our getaway car with us to get perfect shots (these were some of my favorites!) and Alyssa ran down to the corner to get shots from the outside. We also received our photos sooner than expected and were sent sneak peeks in the meantime which was super exciting! Not to mention, there were so many fun surprises along the way!

Amanda has photographed our family of 6 for the past four years. She works great with our four energetic boys and she does an amazing job of channeling their energy into amazing pictures. It gets easier each year to do family portraits with her as they get to know her. She’s fun and easygoing which is a combination that makes for beautiful pictures. I can’t imagine any other person photographing our family each year!

Amanda has been my photographer for our engagement, wedding, graduate program acceptance, and a shoot where I wore my mom's wedding dress and gave my mom the pictures as a gift. She's caught the biggest moments of my life so far and there's a reason why I kept choosing Mirage and Light and will continue choosing Amanda and her skills. I can't imagine anyone else capturing these moments in a better, more genuine way. Amanda has some magic in that lens of hers! I can't wait to see what she captures when I graduate, announce the arrival of our baby, and many many more milestones along the way.
