When I started photography, I never thought I would be a wedding photographer… and then I shot my first wedding. I fell in love with it all! The flowers, the dresses, the little details, the families, the couples, THE LOVE. I left my first wedding feeling so much joy over the love and memories I had just captured and knowing I had created something that my couple will cherish for many years to come felt so right. I knew this was where I needed to be. I love each and every one of the brides and grooms that trust me to document their day. I find importance in making my couples feel totally at ease. When the stress of a wedding day starts to creep up, I’m there to remind you not to worry because at the end of the day when all the guests are gone and all the food is eaten, you are married to your soulmate and I was there to capture it all!

The Wedding Experience
Step One.

You're engaged! Yaas!

Chances are, you’ve found me because you like pretty pictures and you want a unique perspective of your special day but being a Mirage and Light Couple is much more than that. It is an experience where I walk you through the entire wedding photography process. I want you to feel 100% comfortable with the decision about who you choose to capture one of the most important days of your life and I want to make sure that we go together like boy bands and coordinating outfits.

After your initial inquiry where we get to know each other, if we are a perfect fit, we will move on to the booking process.

Step Two.

Let's get down to Business...

Hey, I just met you and this is crazy. Here’s my contract, so sign me maybe? You’ve decided that Mirage and Light is your photography soul mate. Yaas! I’ll be sending you a contract and invoice where you will be able to review the specifics of your wedding and pay the deposit. After that, we can become Facebook Official!

Step Three.

Time to show off that Bling Bling.

After we are official, we will schedule your engagement session. If you have never had your picture taken professionally before, no need to worry. You are going to be “smizing” like Tyra Banks by the end of your session like a pro. I walk you through it all and all of my couples leave saying, “That was so much fun!” You’ll receive a gallery afterwards of all the pretty-ness which you will be able to download and share as you wish. Spamming your friends and family with engagement photos is encouraged!

Step Four.

Timeline

As we get closer to your wedding date, we will start to get things together like planning the perfect timeline and organizing family photo lists. I will help you create a timeline that not only allows for all those dream wedding images but also lets you ENJOY your day. If there is one thing I have learned through all the weddings I have photographed, is that enjoying the day you spent so many months planning and celebrating with the people there who love you is just as important as amazing photos. By getting this all together beforehand, we can make sure that your day runs a smoothly as possible!

Step Five.

Your Wedding Day!

Yay! Its finally here! The day you have been meticulously planning for months and months is here so its time to celebrate, relax and enjoy your day. When they say your day goes by in flash, they aren’t kidding. Its important to remember that although some things may not go as planned, this day is about celebrating your love for each other and the start to this new adventure together. From the traditional portraits that your mom will want to hang up in her living room to the romantic photos you will immediately want to make your Facebook profile photo to the reception photo of grandma doing the Cupid Shuffle, I will be there to capture it all!

Step Six.

Shake it like a Polaroid Picture!

After all the excitement of your wedding day is over, you will be receiving, in the mail, a gorgeous crystal USB containing ALL of your wedding photos. There may be extra surprises that find their way to you, as well! You will also get a beautiful online gallery to easily share with all your family and friends, because I know they have been asking you to see those wedding photos for weeks! Once you get your photos, its highly encouraged to sit down with your new husband/wife (maybe with a glass of wine) and relive all of those precious wedding memories! Soon after delivery, you will receive your album design to approve and customize (if you ordered one).
